General : High-end tube D/A converter from back in the day. Very special, rare and highly sought after.

Listening : The Audio Note DAC 3 Signature is a very musical DAC, as is almost always the case with tube equipment. The sound of the Audio Note DAC 3 Signature cannot be described as warm per se, but it is also not entirely neutral. The midrange is full, voices have plenty of weight and emotion, as do acoustic instruments. The spatial imaging is also very nice and clear. The bass is full and pleasant and the highs refined and detailed but never sharp or harsh. Listening to the Audio Note DAC 3 Signature is simply an enjoyable, engaging and comfortable experience.

This Audio Note DAC 3 Signature is in excellent visual condition, and given its age, you rarely come across equipment in such fine condition. The DAC functions perfectly as long as you play standard CD format (16bit / 44.1kHz) files, as high-res did not exist on the consumer market when this DAC was made.
