The Avalon Eidolon Vision is the latest and best version of the Eidolon series. Substantially different from the standard Eidolon or Eidolon-N. The Eidolon Vision was developed by Neil Pattel at the request of many who found the Eidolon exceptional, but desired the dynamics and openness of the Avalon Diamond. In 2004, the Eidolon Vision was created. The Eidolon Vision is an absolute top-tier loudspeaker. It immediately creates an enormous soundstage with incredible detail and dynamics. The noise floor of the Eidolon Vision is extremely low. It sounds very clean and open, and it is striking that the sound image is absolutely free from distortion. Other speakers often sound cluttered by comparison. The cabinet is made of layered and glued HDF strips and feels like granite. So rigid and resonance-free. The Eidolon Vision does not sound hard or sharp at all, as is often the case with speakers using ceramic units. Neil Pattel, like no other, knows how to develop the perfect filters for these top units. The Eidolon Vision is a future classic and perhaps the most complete Avalon at an affordable price. Power, precision, and highly musical. This Eidolon Vision is finished in Curly Maple and is in excellent condition, complete with Apex Cones and Manual.
