Technical : The DCS Paganini is an Ultra High End CD and SACD transport. Various outputs are available. The DCS Paganini features an Esoteric UMK5 mechanism, one of the best and most robust drives in the world. The DCS Paganini has an onboard Upsampler. CD and SACD discs are output as DSD via the digital outputs. You can optionally disable the Upsampler. The highest possible quality is obtained from the Firewire outputs and the AES/EBU outputs. The DCS Elgar DAC we also offer accepts 100% DSD over Firewire. The DCS Paganini can serve as a Master Clock, but you can also choose to clock it externally, together with other devices that have a Clock input function.
