General : The Elac FS 507 VX-JET is a beautiful floor-standing speaker with a lovely neutral sound and adjustable tweeter and midrange.

Technical : The Elac FS 507 VX-JET is a very well-thought-out speaker. The cabinet is very solid and consists of different compartments for each unit on the front. The ribbon tweeter and midrange originate from the same point, a coaxial system. What is special about this system in the Elac FS 507 VX-JET is that you can adjust the tweeter/midrange forward or backward using a knob on the back. This allows you to adjust the radiation pattern for optimal performance in virtually any room. The two 180mm woofers each have their own compartment in the cabinet and provide the bass, supported by a bass reflex port on the bottom of the speakers. On the filters you will find high-quality components such as air coils and film capacitors for very transparent and articulate sound.

Listening : The Elac FS 507 VX-JET is, as mentioned earlier, a neutral and transparent sounding speaker. This means there is virtually no coloration, which provides a true live experience when listening to live recordings or acoustic studio recordings. The Elac FS 507 VX-JET is a speaker whose sound is extremely well balanced, nothing dominates or is omitted. Condition : Unfortunately, this set is not completely undamaged, which is reflected in the price. The paint on the front is damaged, but the original metal magnetic grilles ensure that these damages are not visible. Because these are not thick fabric grilles, the sound is also not negatively affected by the grilles. Also, one of the speakers has a small corner damaged on the back, which we have touched up and is also not very visible from a short distance or in normal living room lighting.
