These connectors are made from solid copper and gold-plated. The LC-3 MK3 cable is equipped with 3 x 1.31mm2 solidcore OFC copper for the phase and neutral, and the ground measures 2 x 1.31 mm2. The shielding is achieved by a pure metal foil, which is connected via a ground wire over the entire length.
