The Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 features several advanced power filtering circuits and protects your installation against overload. It contains no current-limiting components, preventing any bottleneck effect. The dynamics of your system thus remain optimal. The Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 is the ideal power distribution for any Hifi and Video installation.

Technology

The Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 is primarily built as a compact outlet strip with heavy copper distribution bars to supply your system without braking. The current distribution bars are made of polished Cu-ETP copper. The connection geometry is entirely constructed according to the Star principle. All power outlets are provided with the same length of copper. The bars used are a generous 3.0mm2 thick, and the wiring used is 2.5mm2. The contacts themselves are the very expensive Gigawatt G-040 Shuko power outlets. These outlets are equipped with heavy brass bars, which at Gigawatt are silver-plated and polished. The large contact surface and the heavy silver layer guarantee a very long lifespan, even with repeated insertion and removal of plugs. In addition to optimal power distribution, there is also a compact parallel filter construction in the Gigawatt PF-1 MK2. This is to suppress small power disturbances without affecting the speed of the current. The Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 is also equipped with a blue Power LED to indicate whether the PF-1 MK2 outlets are powered and you can safely insert your plugs.
