Technical : The Kronzilla SX is a unique power amplifier. First and foremost, it uses the famous T1610 tubes for amplification. This T1610 tube has been manufactured for decades and is unique in its class. The dimensions alone are gigantic. The T1610 tube is a Single Ended double triode and is solely responsible for amplifying the entire audio signal. The T1610 is Single Ended, which means no transition between positive and negative, resulting in a highly authentic sound reproduction. In the KR Audio Kronzilla SX, the T1610 tube is completely set in Class A. This does produce some heat, but also delivers the best possible sound quality. What is also very special about the KR Audio Kronzilla SX is the fact that it contains no form of negative feedback. Not locally and not globally. Simply Zero Feedback. The distortion figures may be slightly higher as a result, but the sound quality is incomparably natural, clear, and magically refined. The powerful T1610 tubes are also the only tubes in the KR Audio Kronzilla SX. The drivers for the tubes are Mosfets, which guarantee an extremely long lifespan. The bias adjustment of the T1610 tubes in the KR Audio Kronzilla SX is automatic. No further adjustments are necessary. The T1610 tube itself is exposed to the vacuum pump for an extremely long time, making it ultra-empty. The grids themselves are made of special material that hardly degenerates. A lifespan of 10,000-15,000 hours is easily achievable, meaning you can play with the same tubes for an extremely long time. The KR Audio Kronzilla SX can be optimally adjusted for 4 Ohms and 8 Ohms speakers by means of adjusting screws.

Listening : Listening to the KR Audio Kronzilla SX is always a particularly pleasant experience. With this amplifier, you are not so focused on the technology, but much more on the music. The KR Audio Kronzilla SX delivers 2 x 50 Watts in pure Class A, which is quite a lot, but for the best and most musical results, we recommend speakers with an efficiency of 90dB or more. If you always listen quietly, that is of course not necessary. Good matches we have in-house are the Blumenhofer FS1 and Gran Gioia, the Sonus Faber Serafino and Amati Tradition, and for example the Vienna Acoustic The Music and also the Audio Physic Caldera 3 pairs very well with it.
