General : Compact and powerful power amplifier from the Danish brand Lyngdorf.

Technical : The Lyngdorf SDA-2400 is unique in that it not only features an unbalanced analog RCA input and balanced analog XLR input, but also has a digital coax RCA and optical Toslink input. The latter is for connecting streamers with volume control via digital output. These digital inputs in the Lyngdorf SDA-2400 are based on the excellent Wolfson WM8804 PLL Transceiver chip. The Lyngdorf SDA-2400 is built to high quality and durability standards and has more than sufficient power to drive virtually any common loudspeaker. The Lyngdorf SDA-2400 consumes little power and does not get very warm, making it easy to place in tight spaces.

Listening : The Lyngdorf SDA-2400 sounds dynamic, tight, transparent and spatial. This is truly an amplifier that lets you hear all the information from your favorite recordings. The bass is tight, firm and rhythmic, and the midrange/treble is airy and floats freely in the space, as if the performers are in your room.
