The Magnepan MG 3.7i is the second largest loudspeaker from Magnepan and a true highlight. This excellently tested loudspeaker is suitable for reasonably compact to large listening rooms. The soundstage is very large and virtually free of any kind of distortion. So free and airy can really only a Magnetostat or Electrostat sound. The Magnepan MG 3.7i is the successor to the 3.7. The Magnepan 3.7i received a different crossover filter and a larger midrange driver. Tonally, the 3.7i sounds even more homogeneous than the already outstanding 3.7. A Magnetostat has the advantage over Electrostats in that it can also reproduce deep bass and play particularly loudly. Combine the Magnepan MG 3.7i with a very good tube or transistor amplifier, and you will achieve a quality in your home that is difficult to reach with dynamic loudspeakers costing €30.000. Read the reviews for yourself. This Magnepan 3.7i HG is the version with high-gloss red painted bezels. The standard MG 3.7i costs €10.500,00 and sounds identical to the HG version.
