The Pass Labs INT-60 is a completely new amplifier from Pass Labs USA. It is not the successor to the excellent Pass Labs INT-30A. The Pass Labs INT-60 is clearly set at a higher level. The INT-60 is built with the latest circuits from the .8 series, and in fact it is the XA-60.8 which is built in, just more compact. The built-in preamp section has also been renewed. What has remained is the fact that the Pass Labs INT-60 is fully balanced, from input to output. The power supply has been significantly increased, as well as the chassis and cooling fins. The INT-60 also has a bias meter built into the front panel. This meter indicates the idle current, and as soon as it starts to move, the INT-60 exits Class A, but by then it's already running very hard. The INT-60 also now has a very clear volume level indicator. Works really nicely remotely. In terms of sound, the INT-60 has become a clearly more modern amplifier. More space, more detail, more dynamics, more openness and a larger soundstage, but fortunately with retention of the typical neutral, warm sound that Pass Labs is known for. This Pass Labs INT-60 can really handle very large systems, and also has no problem with a set of Magico Q7 and the mighty Yvy Signature, for instance. The INT-30A absolutely could not handle that. This Pass Labs INT-60 amplifier is only one year old, and is in completely new condition, and comes complete with the original packaging, manual and remote control.
