General : The Sonus Faber Olympica 2 is a beautifully constructed and sounding floor-standing 3-way loudspeaker.

Technology : Built with the finest materials, this Olympica is a testament to elegance. The cabinet features an asymmetrical design. A horn shape, but adapted. The asymmetry creates a quiet internal acoustics. The Olympica series cabinet is therefore very quiet. No rumble or thumping from the cabinet. The reflex port is also a Sonus Faber development. No booming bass pipes, but a Stealth Ultraflex port. The Stealth Ultraflex port is a port that runs along the entire length of the loudspeaker. On one loudspeaker this port is on the left side and on the other loudspeaker it is on the right side. This gives you the option to have the ports play towards each other, or facing away from each other. We advise to have the ports play towards each other, as this delivers the best results in most situations, although you do have the possibility to experiment with this. The crossover filter is also of very high quality, featuring beautiful Mundorf Evo oil capacitors and Jantzen coils. The top is made of solid walnut wood, finished with leather and an aluminum frame. The entire baffle is also covered with leather and of course Sonus Faber's elastic speaker grilles are used. The design looks very sleek and classic, you can hardly take your eyes off it.

Sound : The sound is typically modern Sonus Faber, so very open and detailed, refined dynamic, beautiful rounded bass reproduction and overall quietly tuned. The soundstage is grand and striking and as mentioned, also dynamically refined. The pleasant sound that Sonus Faber has become known for is preserved, but simply better articulated, more open and less woolly. All in all, the Sonus Faber Olympica 2 is a very musical loudspeaker with a pleasant and well-balanced sound.

These Sonus Faber Olympica 2 are finished in the luxurious Wenge dark wood finish and are in undamaged condition. The set is delivered in its complete original packaging including all accessories.
