General : Powerful and highly musical integrated amplifier from Vitus Audio of Denmark.
Technology : The Vitus RI-100 is a very solidly built amplifier. What sets the RI-100 apart from the amplifiers in Vitus Audio's Signature series is that the RI-100 operates in Class A/B amplification rather than pure Class A. This has the advantage that the amplifier runs cooler, consumes less power, and provides more output power. The Vitus RI-100 is a heavy amplifier weighing 40kg, also due to the enormous power supply and massive chassis with large cooling fins on the exterior.
Listening : Don't let the robust and sleek appearance and high power output fool you. The Vitus RI-100 is a very organic-sounding amplifier. Of course, with this power you get excellent control over the speakers and a powerful soundstage and bass reproduction. But more importantly, the sound of the Vitus RI-100 is also very refined; it doesn't sound excessively warm or colored, but also not thin and analytical. The music simply sounds : beautiful. All recordings are a pleasure to listen to without boredom and without listening fatigue, which gives the Vitus RI-100 a very well-balanced sound that is also easy to match with many types of speakers.
This Vitus RI-100 is in like new condition and comes with the original packaging. Interested in the Vitus RI-100? Feel free to schedule a listening appointment to audition this magnificent amplifier in one of our listening rooms.
