General : The Wharfedale Elysian 2 are large and very high-quality 3-way standmount loudspeakers.

Technical : The Wharfedale Elysian 2 features very modern drivers. The bass woofer is a 220mm woofer with a cone featuring a fiberglass coating. The midrange driver is a 150mm driver with a cone made of the same material as the bass woofer cone. The tweeter is a highly acclaimed AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter that handles frequencies from 2,500Hz onwards. The enclosure is heavy and solidly built, featuring an open design with a bass reflex port. The bass reflex port is located at the bottom of the speaker, which is slightly elevated above the base plate. This allows the bass energy to spread nicely rather than being blown in one direction.

Listening : The Wharfedale Elysian 2 has a very natural and well-balanced sound. The midrange and high frequencies are extremely detailed and transparent, but they present the details in a calm and pleasant manner.
