General : High-quality Accuphase CD/SACD player

Technical : The Accuphase DP-78 is an older model that was introduced in 2004. Yet it holds its own remarkably well; the build quality is what you'd expect from Accuphase: sublime. The advantage of the Accuphase DP-78 is that it can play both CDs and SACDs. It also has digital inputs so you can connect a television/streamer to the internal 24-bit/192kHz D/A Converter, and the Accuphase DP-78 also features digital outputs so you can connect an external D/A Converter. The analog outputs come in 2 variants as well: Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA, so you can connect the Accuphase DP-78 to any preamp/integrated amplifier.

Listening : The Accuphase DP-78 sounds as you'd expect from Accuphase. A beautiful, refined, analog-sounding character that is immediately relaxing. The soundstage is very expansive and the background is lively. The sound is relaxing yet highly engaging at the same time. This Accuphase DP-78 has been fully inspected and comes complete with the original packaging and accessories, etc. Furthermore, this Accuphase DP-78 still functions perfectly in terms of CD reading and remote control response; only the display is somewhat weak. This Accuphase DP-78 CD/SACD player is excellent for extended listening sessions and many years of musical enjoyment in your home.
