Technology : The Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC is a reference model from the Diamond series of the Danish brand Ansuz Acoustics. The Mainz8 reference series starts with the Mainz8 D2 and continues through to the highly exclusive D-TC Supreme. Above the D-TC Supreme you will find the absolute reference/flagship model of Ansuz Acoustics, the Mainz8 GOLD Signature. The Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC utilizes all 4 of Ansuz's distinctive noise reduction techniques. The Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC is equipped with Ansuz Stargrounding Technology. This technique prevents noise from "bleeding" to every individual cable. To eliminate noise, the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC is equipped with 27 Active Cable Tesla Coils, which are coils mounted directly to the internal wiring. The Active Cable Tesla Coils consist of 2 parts: a coil and a counter coil. When the coil encounters a noise spike, the counter coil creates a counter spike out of phase. This cancels out the noise spike, somewhat like a noise-cancelling headphone does electronically, but mechanically. The more Tesla Coils, the more effective the total amount of noise elimination. The Active Cable Tesla Coils operate under voltage, making them up to 4 times more effective than Ansuz Acoustics' Passive Cable Tesla Coils. Additionally, the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC also features no fewer than 94 Active Square Tesla Coils. These are square Tesla Coils mounted directly on a circuit board. You will also find 47 Active Tesla Coils in the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC, which are also voltage-operated Tesla Coils, however these are mounted in the circuit rather than directly to the internal wiring. Finally, the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC also has 8 Analog Dither Circuitry units. This technique is derived from radar technology. The Analog Dither Circuitry causes the Tesla Coils to emit pulsating signals at precisely determined frequencies. These signals are phase-shifted. The result of this technique is that the music signal is significantly amplified and the background noise floor is eliminated. The circuit boards in the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC are mounted on Ansuz Darkz decouplers, which reduces vibration interference for the circuit boards, resulting in more stable operation and thus better sound reproduction. The way Ansuz Acoustics addresses noise does not restrict the power signal, so you won't experience loss of dynamics.
