General : The Antipodes CX is a fully integrated Pure Audio server/streamer with Roon server and player software installed, and built-in discrete ODAPS2 power supply and DA Converter. In this model, the older ODAPS2 power supply has been removed and completely replaced with the latest and improved OLADRA power supply, comparable to the Antipodes S60 PSU.

Description : The Antipodes CX was a breakthrough in the streaming world in terms of sound quality. Even today, it is one of the best sounding streamers on the market in its price range, especially at a sharp second-hand price for this upgraded OLADRA version of the Antipodes CX. This Antipodes CX OLADRA has been to Antipodes Audio in New Zealand for an official OLADRA upgrade, during which the power supply was replaced with the latest OLADRA power supply. The latest Antipodes software version (V4.4.0.) has been installed.

You are not required to use Roon; the Antipodes CX OLADRA can also be used with the following software :

Server Software Options : RoonServer, Squeezebox Server, MinimServer, MiniDLNA, Sonos Server, PlCX Media Server and HQplayer Server.

Player Software Options : RoonReady, Squeezelite, MPD/DLNA, HQplayer, Spotify Connect, Shairport.

Technical : The Antipodes CX is built in a very heavy and stable CNC-milled solid aluminum chassis. The CX chassis consists of 4 separate chambers. The wiring, power supply, switch and SSD disks are now completely separated.

Storage : The Antipodes CX is supplied standard without storage for music. You can easily install and configure an SSD yourself (up to 8TB). The Antipodes CX OLADRA has 2 slots for SSD storage, if you fill the first drive, you can easily install a 2nd drive to expand the memory. Ohm-Audio B.V. provides support when needed, and you can also purchase an SSD from us, and we will install it in the Antipodes CX OLADRA before you receive it at home.

Outputs : The Antipodes CX has 2 audio outputs. First, there is the most commonly used USB Pure Audio output. An optimized output with its own regulated power supply voltage. Very important because the USB output of the Antipodes CX OLADRA powers the USB input of your DAC. In addition, the Antipodes CX OLADRA has a Direct Stream output to connect a player directly, for example a separate streamer or a DAC with RoonReady functionality. Audio Formats : The Antipodes CX OLADRA plays all existing music formats, such as MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, DSD up to DSD512 and MQA decoding.
