EN. The Avalon Acoustics Arcus is the successor to the excellent Avalon Avatar and Eclipse (Classic) speakers. It is the first in the series Avalon with an opened cabinet. This opening at the bottom is not specifically designed as a bass reflex pipe, but for the prevention of energy storage in the cabinet. The Avalon Arcus features a highly advanced inverted titanium dome, which does its job exceedingly well. The Avalon Arcus is also significantly easier to drive than its predecessors and plays with great energy. The sound is beautifully constructed, with many musical layers, and a huge fine dynamics. The spatial image is again typical Avalon. Very large and very precise. This pair Avalon Acoustics Arcus is in excellent condition, complete with the Apex Cones, and can be auditioned at Ohm Audio.
