The Avalon Opus Ceramique is the successor to the Avalon Opus. The standard Opus is a 4-Way system with a standard woofer and a subwoofer in the base. The Opus Ceramique is a 3-Way system featuring not only a ceramic midrange driver and tweeter, but also a ceramic woofer. The result is a very balanced loudspeaker with some very elegant and musical characteristics. Crystal clear sound with exceptional clarity and detail. Dynamically very impressive. The Avalon Opus Ceramique is capable of reproducing a piano and grand piano without any form of compression. Of course, this Opus Ceramique also has the enormous 3D soundstage of the larger and much more expensive Avalons. A true listening experience. This pair of Opus Ceramique is in excellent condition and comes complete with original Avalon Acoustics Apex Couplers (spikes) and the original manual.
