General : The Premier 14 is one of the most acclaimed creations from Conrad Johnson. The Premier 14 entered the market in 1996 and has left many positive impressions in the audio world in the decades that followed. This is a preamplifier with a purist approach, single-ended triode, zero feedback. The same applies to the volume control, which features a row of switchable resistors instead of a potentiometer. Switching between the resistors gives the amplifier its characteristic clicking sound when adjusting the volume. Although this preamplifier has been in service for quite some time, it still sounds fantastic and looks very good. This CJ Premier Fourteen is in excellent condition and has been fully inspected and serviced at Creato Audio.
