The Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 features some advanced power purification circuits and protects your installation against overload. There are no current-limiting components, so there is no bottleneck effect. The dynamics of your system remain optimal. The Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 is the ideal power distribution for any Hi-Fi and Video installation.

Technology

The Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 was initially built as a compact power outlet box with heavy copper distribution bars to supply your system with power without restriction. The power distribution bars are made of polished Cu-ETP copper. The connection geometry is completely built according to the Star principle. All connection boxes are equipped with the same length of copper. The bars used are a generous 3.0mm2 thick, and the wiring used is 2.5mm2. The contacts themselves are the very expensive Gigawatt G-040 Shuko plug contacts. These power sockets are equipped with heavy brass bars, which at Gigawatt are silver-plated and polished. The large contact surface and the heavy silver layer guarantee a very long service life, even with repeated insertion and removal of plugs. In addition to optimal power distribution, the Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 also contains a compact parallel filter construction to suppress minor power disturbances without affecting the speed of the current. The Gigawatt PF-1 MK2 is also equipped with a blue Power LED to indicate whether the PF-1 MK2 contacts are live and you can safely insert your plugs.
