The Harbeth 30.1 Reference monitor is a further development of the famous LS 5/9A by Rogers. The distinctive feature of this design is that it is a relatively compact cabinet, but with a full range sound. The panels are made of birch plywood, and are in principle lightly constructed and fitted with lead bitumen. This was done to spread resonances rather than dampen them as much as possible. The Harbeth 30.1 features a beautiful midrange that is most reminiscent of a set of Quad electrostatics. So beautifully open, pure and calm. The bass is tuneful and deep and the treble is refined and calm, but with very much detail. This set of Harbeth 30.1 speakers is in mint condition and comes complete with the original packaging and manual.
