Technical : Jeff Rowland is known for making state of the art audio equipment. They have been manufacturing formidable amplifiers and preamplifiers for years. The Aeris DAC is the very first DAC made by Jeff Rowland, and today it is still being made and remains among the top DACs available. For connections, you can use 2 SPDIF BNC connectors and a Toslink Optical input for signals up to 24bit/192kHz. There is also a USB-B input for signals up to 96kHz. Furthermore, a high-quality Dual-Stage volume control is built into the Jeff Rowland Aeris DAC. This makes it very suitable for directly driving power amplifiers. Connected directly to a power amplifier it sounds exceptionally good, although gains can be made by using a high end preamplifier such as the Jeff Rowland Corus or a Bricasti M20 or an Audio Research Reference preamplifier.
