General : The Kaiser Kawero Classic is the top model of the German Kaiser. It is a very specially built and exceptionally sounding loudspeaker. The Kaiser Kawero Classic does not often appear on the secondhand market. This set is in perfect condition and features a beautiful Gloss Santos Palisander finish.

Technology : The cabinet of the Kaiser Kawero Classic is made of tankwood. Tankwood is ultra-heavy pressed wood, and it is resonance-free and even bulletproof. This is why tankwood is also used in armored limousines. Tankwood is very difficult to work with, and building a cabinet takes enormous time and energy. The milling machine wears extremely quickly from this heavy, tough and hard wood. The cabinet is therefore ultra-heavy and virtually resonance-free. Tap on the cabinet and it seems to be made of solid stone. According to Kaiser, tankwood is many times better than aluminum, for example. But the cabinet is not the only special thing about these speakers. The Kaiser is equipped with the very best units in the world. Bass, midrange and the passive radiator come from Audio Technology. Massive magnets drive the drivers and can produce large excursions. The midrange driver is already engaged from 60Hz and is also supported by a passive radiator on the back. You don't see that often. Together with this passive radiator, the notorious Baffle Step is eliminated, so the midrange driver does not need to be dampened. The radiation is also optimal and the efficiency is high. In this case 92dB at 1 meter, so even with small amplifiers the Kaiser Kawero Classic plays excellently. The tweeter is a true Pure Ribbon tweeter from RAAL, which is coupled with a silver/palladium transformer. The phase of the tweeter is adjustable, and the direction can also be adjusted for optimal room adaptation. The filter technology is implemented with expensive components from Duelund and Mundorf as well as Echole internal wiring. All in all, this makes the Kaiser Kawero Classic a true reference class loudspeaker.

Sound Quality : The Kaiser Kawero Classic sounds truly fantastic. Very detailed, and with an enormous soundstage. The midrange is full and solid, and very tuneful. Even playing very softly you don't miss a detail, but the Kaiser Kawero can also play seriously loud. A room of 100 M2 is no problem at all. The bass goes deep and sounds pure and tight. The whole thing is reminiscent of much larger reference speakers. The Kaiser Kawero sounds like a unified whole. What we also find particularly beautiful is the pure, large and realistic midrange reproduction. The Kawero sounds full, analog, 3D and not with that bright or harsh sound. We have driven the Kaiser Kawero Classic with various tube and transistor amplifiers, and always with fantastic results. This set of Kaiser Kawero is in excellent condition and is ready for many years of musical enjoyment in your home.
