General: The Kemp Elektroniks QA Plug is a noise surpressor for use in your power outlet or wall socket. The Kemp QA Plug removes contamination from the mains voltage, resulting in better music playback. You can use the Kemp QA Plug in multiple ways, in your power conditioner or wall socket, or in your electrical panel. Plug & Play, it couldn't be simpler. When using the Kemp QA Plug, you will notice that the soundstage becomes cleaner, the bass is tighter and resonates less, voices sound more natural and less harsh in the case of very high or slightly poorly recorded voices, and the live experience is simply more live because the background is quieter, allowing the performers to be heard more easily.

The Kemp QA Plug can be adjusted in strength by means of a rotary knob on the underside. Set it to maximum and it filters more. Set it to minimum and it filters less. You might think that maximum is always better, but sometimes it can be too much of a good thing and then the sound becomes a bit too quiet. Different situations require different settings; in most cases, people end up setting it to about three-quarters of the maximum amount.
