With its 2 x 150 Watts at 8 Ohm and no less than 2 x 300 Watts at 4 Ohm, this Krell KAV-300i delivers healthy power. The Krell KAV-300i offers a choice of 4 inputs, 3 x unbalanced RCA and 1 x balanced XLR. The latter (B1), can be configured via an internal switch as a direct or a "through" input for an audio/video setup, where the surround processor handles volume and balance control. The Krell KAV-300i also has an unbalanced pre amp output so you can also use it as a preamp only. The Krell KAV-300i also has Tape in and output. Technically, the Krell KAV-300i is built like a tank, qualitatively rock solid and durable.
