General : The Lector ZAX-70 is the second heaviest integrated amplifier from Lector. Technology : The Lector ZAX-70 is a fully discretely built amplifier, so no IC is used in the signal path. The ZAX-70 delivers a healthy and stable 2 x 70 Watt continuous at 8 ohm. This Lector ZAX-70 is equipped with an enormous toroidal transformer in the power supply and advanced Sanken Power BJTs in the output stage. These output transistors guarantee optimal control of even the most demanding speakers. The 5 line inputs are gold-plated cinch connectors, and switching between inputs is done via high-quality gold-plated relays. This ensures optimal sound quality and a very long lifespan. As an extra, a passive line out is also installed for, for example, driving an additional amplifier or an active subwoofer. The volume control is an expensive ALPS Blue Velvet potentiometer, motor-driven. The Lector ZAX-70 is built according to the Round Edge principle. Rounded sides create a very stable chassis.
