General : A very solid integrated amplifier from the top line of Marantz

Technical : Marantz is known for building durable amplifiers with high-quality components, and the Model 30 is no exception. Built like a tank with a heavy and powerful dual power supply, one power supply for the preamplifier and one for the power amplifier, and only high-quality components on the circuit board. Engineered to last at least 15 to 20 years without maintenance, and Marantz amplifiers often last even longer. The Marantz Model 30 is discreetly designed with a chassis made of thick and heavy aluminum and a steel top plate. The speaker terminals are gold-plated, a Marantz design. There are plenty of connections available as well as a Phono input for both MM and MC cartridges with adjustable input impedance in various ways for optimal sound performance.

Sound : The Marantz Model 30 is a very solidly built amplifier and this is reflected in the sound quality. The Marantz Model 30 has complete control over the speakers, resulting in controlled sound that is well-balanced. The sound is generally neutral, spacious and detailed. Overall a very complete amplifier with a very natural sound. This Marantz Model 30 was originally supplied to the first owner in September 2020 (verifiable with original purchase invoice), the finish is the beautiful silver/gold (also called champagne) version and the amplifier is in absolute like new condition and comes with the original packaging and accessories. This Marantz Model 30 is now available to audition at Ohm-Audio B.V.
