Technical : The Marten Bird 2 is the successor to the already excellent Bird 1. The Bird 2 has received new loudspeaker units, with the biggest difference being a completely new, and very expensive pure diamond tweeter. The bass units are also new, they are the last sandwich bass drivers from Accuton. The crossover is also completely renewed, and the bass level is now adjustable to the room. There are now very expensive Mundorf components in the crossover. The Bass port is now at the bottom and radiates calmly and very evenly. The port is very deeply tuned, 26Hz, and therefore no annoying bass reflex sounds occur. The feet of the speaker are now made of stainless steel, and the cones and pucks are manufactured by Marten themselves. The Bird 2 is better damped than the Bird 1, and is sonically on a much higher level.

Listening : The Marten Bird 2 sounds fantastic. Incomparably better than the already very good Bird 1. You hear a more mature sound, more fine dynamics, more body and more glow. The bass reproduction is also completely different. Deeper, tighter and yet also supple. The spatial representation is grand and is most reminiscent of the Avalon Time. The Marten Bird 2 is truly a very mature sounding and very musical loudspeaker. Combine the Marten Bird 2 with a good transistor or tube amplifier and there is little left to be desired. This set is only 2 years old, and is in mint condition, and is complete with the original packaging and the cones and pucks. Der Bird 2 hat neue Lautsprechereinheiten erhalten, wobei der größte Unterschied ein völlig neuer und sehr teurer Rein-Diamant-Hochtöner ist. Auch die Bässe sind neu, sie sind die letzten Sandwich-Bass-Treiber von Accuton. Das Weichen ist ebenfalls komplett erneuert und der Basspegel ist nun an den Raum anpassbar. Es gibt jetzt sehr teure Mundorf-Komponenten im Filter. Das Basswiedergabe ist jetzt ganz tiefer und strahlt ruhig und sehr gleichmäßig aus. Das Basreflex rohre sind sehr tief getunt, 26Hz, und daher entstehen keine störenden Bassreflexklänge. Die Füße des Lautsprechers sind jetzt aus rostfreiem Stahl, und die Kegel und Pucks werden von Marten selbst hergestellt. Der Bird 2 ist besser gedämpft als der Bird 1 und liegt klangich auf einem deutlich höheren Niveau.

Hören : Der Marten Bird 2 klingt fantastisch. Unvergleichlich besser als der bereits sehr gute Bird 1. Sie hören einen reiferen Sound, feinere Dynamik, mehr Körper und mehr Glanz. Die Basswiedergabe ist ebenfalls völlig anders. Tiefer, straffer und gleichzeitig sehr geschmeidig. Die räumliche Darstellung ist großartig und erinnert uns am meisten an die Avalon Time. Der Marten Bird 2 ist ein sehr ausgereifter und sehr musikalischer Lautsprecher. Kombinieren Sie den Marten Bird 2 mit einem guten Transistor oder Röhrenverstärker und es bleibt kaum noch etwas übrig. Dieses Set Bird 2 ist nur 2 Jahre alt und ist in neuwertigem Zustand. Es ist komplett mit der Originalverpackung und den Spikes und Pucks.
