General : The Mastersound 300B Plus is a Single Ended, fully Class A monoblock without negative feedback.

Technical : The Mastersound 300B Plus is a Single Ended tube monoblock, built with the most famous tube of all time, the 300B. A 300B tube delivers only modest power, but the sound is overwhelmingly good. In the Mastersound 300B Plus, 2 300B tubes are connected in parallel and these monoblocks deliver 2 x 30 watts of pure Class A power. These Mastersound 300B Plus units come directly from the factory with expensive Emission Labs 300B tubes, and these have barely been played. The amplifiers are therefore brand new and barely broken in. Also remarkable is that the Mastersound 300B Plus uses no negative feedback. Not overall and not locally either. Simply zero! The Mastersound 300B Plus is optimally suitable for loudspeakers of 4-16 ohms.

Listening : Listening to the Mastersound 300B Plus is a particularly pleasant activity. You do not listen technically to these fine amplifiers at all. It is pure emotion. The soundstage is grand, pure and friendly in character, and the voice reproduction is particularly special. This sound does not assault you, but embraces you. The sound bell is very large and completely full. Come listen to the Mastersound 300B Plus on, for example, a set of loudspeakers with reasonable efficiency and you will soon be convinced. This is really very good. This set was traded in with us, and it has only been used for 1 year.
