The McIntosh C-50 is equipped with a very high-quality DA Converter, including High Speed USB, SPDIF and Toslink up to 24 Bit/192KHz. The McIntosh C-50 also has a very fine Phono MM and MC input, which is moreover fully adjustable. Furthermore, the C-50 is of course equipped with a substantial number of balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs. The C-50 has, and this is very special, a very finely controllable 8 band equalizer onboard. With this you can make small adjustments to the sound to optimize your speakers and/or acoustics. The McIntosh C-50 is a Mosfet Solid State design, so no tubes that need to be replaced from time to time. The McIntosh C-50 is built as a Double Chassis unit, with all analog connections mounted on top, and all digital connections and processing on the bottom.
