The Pass X-260.8 monoblocks are the successor to the Pass X-260.5 series. Pass Labs has once again surpassed themselves, as the new X-260.8 is a clear step forward. The Pass X-260.8 is much more heavily constructed and operates at a higher Class A bias, with improved components on many fronts. The Power Supply has been enlarged, the voltage regulators are more precise, and the result is excellent. The Pass X-260.8 monoblocks are fully balanced from input to output and have also received new speaker terminals. Up to 34 watts, the X-260.8 monoblocks operate in pure Class A, and above that the Pass X-260.8 delivers a powerful 2 x 260 watts continuous power at 8 ohms, and 520 watts continuous power at 4 ohms. The Pass X-260.8 weighs approximately 100 kg net combined, meaning they must be placed on a very stable furniture piece. Sonically, the new Pass X-260.8 is a clear step forward compared to the older series. Better articulation, more transparent, more analog sounding, with more warmth, and improved bass response.
