Technical : The PMC Twenty5.21 is a technically very well-thought-out speaker, and you can hear that too. Our pair is finished in the beautiful Amarone Wood finish, a dark red colored wood type, and on the back a stainless steel plate with the type engraved on it. The copper-milled and Rhodium Plated speaker terminals are also mounted on this stainless steel plate. In terms of design, the PMC Twenty5.21 is a stylish speaker without too many frills, but with striking details. The PMC Twenty5.21 is a transmission line speaker, which is not common in speakers of this size, but it certainly does its job. The bass goes very deep and remains crystal clear thanks to this system. The high tones come from a 27mm soft dome tweeter with a milled frame in front for protection, but also for optimal dispersion. The mid/bass unit is a 140mm unit, made of fiberglass fabric with an inverted dust cap. The cabinet is made of MDF and is very solid and resonance-free.

Listening : The PMC Twenty5.21 sounds excellent. This is a speaker with a very high fun factor due to its lively character. Everything sounds easy, open and musical. The PMC Twenty5.21 handles all music genres, even at higher volumes. And the soundstage and details remain stable at lower volumes, a true all-rounder. The bass is truly formidable for its size, and the sound projects so well into the room that the speakers completely disappear from the moment you close your eyes. The soundstage is also nicely large, tall, wide and deep. These are very powerful and mature speakers that still have a playful edge.
