Technical : The Quad Elite QSP is a successor to the excellent Quad 909 power amplifier. The Quad Elite QSP uses Quad's own 'Current Dumping' technology, just like the Quad 909. This uses a refined low power Class A output stage, which is combined with a powerful current dumper that ultimately supplies most of the current. This combines the refined sound of a Class A amplifier with the control and authority of a current dumper. The Quad Elite QSP Stereo can therefore drive most speakers on the market with relative ease. You can connect the Quad Elite QSP Stereo with standard RCA connectors, but in combination with other Quad equipment you can also use Quad's own QuadLink Ampbus connections.

Listening : The Quad Elite QSP Stereo sounds full, lively and assertive. The bass is tight and controlled, the midrange is very substantial and dynamic, and the high frequencies are refined and detailed. The Quad Elite QSP Stereo is a high-quality piece of engineering and you can hear it immediately. The soundstage is large and direct, once seated at your listening position the speakers disappear and you're immersed in a large and deep cloud of music from your favorite recordings.
