Technical Details : The Rotel Michi P5 is a top model from Rotel and that is clearly evident in the finish, both inside and out. The circuit boards filled with high-quality and durable components are neatly built into the solid chassis. The DAC section consists of a dual AKM 32-bit DAC and the preamplifier circuit operates fully in Class A. The power supply consists of 2 custom-designed toroidal transformers manufactured in-house which, in combination with high-quality large capacitors, provide the P5 with powerful, stable and linear power. The Rotel Michi P5 has an enormous range of inputs and outputs. There are multiple unbalanced and balanced inputs and outputs, no fewer than 3 Coax inputs, 3 Toslink inputs and a USB-B input. There is also a switchable phono input for both MC and MM cartridges. Plenty of inputs to connect virtually any audio device. The Rotel Michi P5 also features an MQA decoder so that high-resolution MQA files from Tidal can be played.
