Technical Details : The Sonus Faber Sonetto VIII features technology from the higher and more expensive Olympica and Homage Tradition lines from Sonus Faber. The tweeter is a 29mm silk dome tweeter with DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology, highly durable and natural sounding. The 150mm midrange driver consists of a blend of natural fiber and paper that is air-dried. This combination is available in this price range for the first time. The bass is handled by three 180mm aluminum woofers that deliver tight and pure bass reproduction. The main difference compared to the Sonetto III and Sonetto V is that the Sonetto VIII extends even deeper and can drive very large rooms. The bass port is located at the bottom of the speaker and is large and deeply tuned. The Sonetto VIII is a substantial floor-standing speaker, but looks slender and smaller than its size suggests. Yet it sounds grand. The Sonetto VIII is a powerful speaker. The woofers, midrange unit and tweeter are designed from A to Z by Sonus Faber themselves and are housed in a cast enclosure. The Sonus Faber Sonetto VIII has a luxurious appearance and the cabinet features genuine wooden components and a leather top. Beneath the enclosure a heavy metal plate is mounted in which the massive aluminum spikes are threaded. Floor protectors to prevent damage to your floor are included.

Listening Experience : Listening to the Sonus Faber Sonetto VIII is, like the entire Sonetto series, a true delight. You won't have heard anything like this from speakers in this price range before. The treble is extremely detailed and refined. The midrange is very fast and realistic. The bass is pleasant, pure and tight and goes really deep. But especially the soundstage that these Sonus Faber Sonetto VIII speakers can create is remarkable. The soundstage is truly grand, feels natural and is not exaggerated. Everything sounds as it should and the placement of voices and instruments is very precise.

This set of Sonus Faber Sonetto 8 was delivered to us in October 2018, it has always been unpacked and stored in our warehouse and has been played very little because customer interest was mainly focused on the Sonetto 3 and the Sonetto 5. Therefore, we deliver this set with a 2-year warranty. The speakers are in like-new condition and are completely complete including the original packaging.
