General : The Symposium Ultra Base is a resonance-damping platform for components such as amplifiers, CD players, DACs, turntables and the like. Even very heavy power amplifiers can be placed on the platforms. The Symposium Ultra consists of a layered construction where materials of different thickness and hardness alternate with each other. Additionally, the arrangement of the layers is not 100% symmetrical, which ensures that the platform has no pronounced resonance of its own. The Symposium Ultra platforms provide a more stable soundstage, more clarity, and music that is easier to "understand". This model is 48 by 45 centimeter, and is supplied in the original box. The spikes that are normally included are unfortunately no longer present, fortunately the platform also works excellently with spikes from another brand.
