Active Tesla Coil

The Active Tesla Coil is an active variant of the Tesla Coils, used in much Audio Group Denmark electronics.

Before we delve into this specific type of Coil, let's first discuss the basic principle of every Tesla Coil technology from Audio Group Denmark. The Tesla Coil is a component consisting of 2 coils, a coil and a counter coil. The counter coil is wound in the opposite direction compared to the coil. Ansuz also calls this principle the 'Double Inverted Coil'. The principle of the Tesla Coils can be understood as the principle behind noise-cancelling headphones; a noise-cancelling headphone picks up external noise at certain frequencies and then adds it out of phase to the signal, thereby cancelling out these frequencies. 

The Tesla Coils do the same thing, except now it concerns electronic noise rather than literally "audible" noise such as wind or airplane engines, etc. The unique aspect of electronic noise is that you don't really hear it until you remove it; afterwards you notice that you hear more layers in the recording and that there is space and air between everything happening in the recording. The more noise you remove, the stronger this effect becomes and the more you get from the recording and truly extract what is in your music. Returning to the noise-cancelling effect, a Tesla Coil ensures that the noise passes through the coil and thereby activates the counter coil. Because the counter coil is wound in an opposite direction, it imitates the noise but out of phase, thereby cancelling the initial noise peak. One or multiple Tesla Coil(s) sit parallel to the signal path; the signal does not pass through all the coils, but rather the coils 'pluck' the noise from your conductors from the side, so to speak. All types of Tesla Coils are supportive and work together; the more Tesla Coils in your set, the more noise cancelling and the more musical the sound.
