General: Server/streamer combination from Antipodes. Suitable for Roon ready and most other players. This Core comes with the latest software version and can be ordered in combination with SSD drives.

With space for 2 SSDs, the core is extremely suitable for storing and playing your own music database. The core comes with the ODAPS power supply. 

Mainboard Technology: The Core is the Non ripping version of the Antipodes DS Core and therefore has no built-in CD ripper, and for installed storage for your music. You can rip CDs automatically, but then with an externally connected USB CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Drive. The cast aluminum enclosure is identical to that of the Edge, except for the rear panel. The Antipodes Core is a High Power Server and Player in 1 as soon as you choose the version with built-in SSD storage. 

Storage: The Antipodes Core is equipped with a high power V4H mainboard for extra computing power and speed with Roon. Roon has many options in the latest version to adjust the sound. A complete DSP is at your disposal. Also, a very large music collection can require a lot of computing power. More computing power in itself is not a problem, but it must not affect the extremely pure data stream with bits that contain your music.

Connections: The Antipodes Core has 1 pure audio output. USB Audio out to connect the DS Core directly to your USB DAC. This USB output has a very strong and pure power supply voltage to power the DAC's USB input board. 

Roon: All Antipodes units are 100% built to work optimally with Roon. Roon consists of 3 parts, namely Roon Server, Roon Ready and Roon Control. Roon server manages your music library in the most logical and intelligent way you can imagine. Roon server is also the only component that needs to be paid for. The software is not cheap, but absolutely worth every penny. Roon Ready is the player (RAAT Roon Advanced Audio Transport), the solution that plays the music to your system. Roon Control is the remote control to operate the player. Roon Control works with almost every brand of smartphone, iPads, PCs, laptops, Macbooks, etc. Once you get used to Roon, you won't want anything else to manage your music library and play music. 

Listening: All Antipodes streamers excel through their extremely pure digital signal, without noise, distortion or affected jitter, and without the frequently used Jitterbug and noise suppressors.
