The Antipodes Edge is an excellent Roon / Squeezebox network server / player. Your music is stored on the built-in SSD storage, or on your server. The cast aluminium enclosure is identical to that of the Core, except for the rear panel. Connect the Antipodes Edge to your DA Converter via USB or SPDIF, and you immediately benefit from an excellent sounding streamer. This Antipodes Edge comes with 4TB of SSD storage, which is enough for at least 12,000 CDs!

Connections :

The Antipodes Edge has 2 pure audio outputs. USB Audio out (5V on and 5V off) to connect the DS Edge directly to your USB DAC, and a high-quality Spdif output via RCA. You connect the Antipodes Edge to the network, configure the player you want to use, and let the Edge do the processing. Connected via the USB output to the USB DA Converter provides the best results in our opinion, as DSD files are also passed completely and unchanged to the DAC.

Power Supply :

The Antipodes Edge is supplied with the fantastic discreetly regulated ODAPS power supply from Antipodes. This power supply is significantly responsible for the excellent sound quality of the Edge.
