After the enormous improvement from purchasing the Gigawatt PC3EVO power supply, I also modified the meter cabinet on your recommendation. So Gigawatt switch installed, old fuse box removed, no more residual current device in between, existing ground cable replaced with Gigawatt version, and Gigawatt power strip to connect the installation, a few hours of work, but again a significant improvement! The convenience during dynamic passages is incredible, everything sounds so clean and effortless.......and as the cherry on top, the long-awaited Vienna THE Music speakers are now in the room.......what a wonderful brand of speakers! Breathtakingly beautiful in terms of finish, and if anything even more breathtaking in terms of sound......if you want natural sound reproduction you can't get around these, truly a great and grand system for all types of music, with enormous refinement and 3D imaging they can also punch just as easily, without a trace of listening fatigue. Thank you for your excellent advice and service, as spending an entire evening wrestling with those immensely large and heavy boxes they came in is no easy task, and you do everything with such pleasure and dedication, truly heartwarming, where do you find that anymore!

for every audiophile this giga really performs and has a very open soundstage with refinement

First of all, I thought purchasing my new speakers from you was an experience! Relaxed, nice chatting and in the meantime you completely convinced me of the B&W's. Perhaps one of the lesser ones in your collection for you. I was cautious, wondering if they would sound good at home. Well, they do!! I'm super happy with them and they sound amazing. It can only get better with better cables.

Thanks for your open reception and all your explanations. One more question: at the beginning you played me a CD (I think by "the guys from Yellow do that" but I'm not sure), do you have the exact details of this?

I would like to mention that my introduction and further contact with Derk has been very pleasant.
The speakers were delivered in perfect condition
Personally, he brought my Sonus Faber Cremona m purchase to my listening room (attic) and set it up.
I was able to trade in my speakers for a good realistic price.
The most important thing is that Derk is likeable and trustworthy to me.

Hello Derk, it's been quite a while since my friend and I picked up the Marantz CD16. Initially there were some error issues but I suspect the player had been idle for a time. After a few days no problems anymore, a fantastic player for a reasonable price, although some people think differently about it.
I would like to know the brand and type of the amplifier and especially the speakers we heard at your place, that was truly an unprecedented combination!
I hope to find time in the near future to visit again with my own recordings.

Hi Derk, after the many improvements I've realized in my system thanks to your advice, I thought it was actually "done".......and then through you I was given the opportunity to try a Gigawatt PC3 SE EVO power conditioner without obligation. Never heard of it, how could that surpass my reference PS Audio power supply? In short, I was very skeptical so....but meanwhile it's playing beautifully, stunning what happens on all fronts! I would strongly advise anyone who seriously wants to get the very best out of their system to first bring their power to what I believe is the highest achievable level by means of a GigaWatt conditioner, before making any other tuning adjustments. The best improvements are achieved at the source after all! If something goes wrong there you can never really correct it afterwards and everything that comes next in the chain will never reach optimal performance.......anyone who wants to know more about this is welcome to contact me. As an enthusiast of high-end audio, you find yourself in all sorts of places. For years I have enjoyed constantly upgrading my installation. What's interesting about this runaway hobby is that you meet many interesting people and companies, and as a result often make unexpected discoveries. For expanding my primary set (Linn Klimax with Akubariks) with yet another CD player, I had become acquainted with Esoteric during one of these chance encounters. Looking for a good used example, I ended up at Ohm-Audio. I scheduled a listening session and was warmly welcomed by Luuk and Gerbren. I was able to listen and compare very extensively, and afterwards even got a look at the rest of their business and the beautiful products on display.
I purchased the player including a good coax interlink. Once home, the result exceeded all my expectations, magnificent!
Still curious about the beautiful Ansuz cables they carry. So I reached out again, and they immediately offered to let me try out an upgrade, no fuss. I tested this cable and once again a wonderful improvement!
Thanks to the setup, expertise and lovely Groningen straightforwardness of the Ohm-Audio team and the beautiful SACD player, my CD collection has become a whole new magnificent listening experience. I am very grateful to them for it. Highly recommended!
