General: The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz A3 is the latest analogue interlink from the A-series of Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Signalz A3 replaces the Signalz A2. The new Signalz A3 is the most affordable analogue interlink from the Copper Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Copper Series from Ansuz is called the Copper Series because the housing of the gold-plated connectors and cable splitter blocks are made of solid copper. The predecessor of the Signalz A3, the Signalz A2, had connectors in an aluminium housing. And for Ansuz Acoustics, that is a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz falls) is constantly investigating different materials. Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium are frequently used. Ansuz is working to completely avoid the material aluminium in its new products. Aluminium has a negative effect on the sound, it gives an artificial tone due to its resonance behaviour and causes hysteresis. Rather than solving the problems caused by aluminium later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to tackle the problem at its source and therefore no longer uses aluminium in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Signalz A3 is a very tightly twisted cable which ensures less noise in the conductors and improved mechanical stability, yet the cable is easy to handle. With the Ansuz Signalz A3 compared to the Signalz X3, in addition to the solid-core main conductors, Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC) are also used. The Ansuz Signalz A3 has a larger quantity of DIHC compared to the Signalz X-TC3, so less noise enters the signal and less inductance is generated. The conductors are effectively isolated in Teflon with a mesh of tinned copper around it. The Ansuz Signalz A3 is handmade in the factory of Audio Group Denmark in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz A3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. The Ansuz Signalz A3 has noticeably more calm in the sound and an even more detailed soundstage compared to the already outstanding Ansuz Signalz X-TC3 analog interlink. There is more happening in the sound image and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be, but it is not unnecessary spectacle. This is recognizable in the Ansuz character that actually all Ansuz cables have. Everything you hear is pure music. We could talk about certain details and accents, but with Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to do that. Instead, we talk about the enormous musical properties that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The Ansuz Signalz A3 is absolutely no exception here. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant, and you are immediately involved with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds has passed, the time to listen to music has begun.
