General: The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz X-TC3 is the newest and second most affordable analog interlink from Ansuz Acoustics from Denmark. The Ansuz Signalz X-TC3 replaces the Signalz P2, the letter "P" is no longer used in the new assortment of Ansuz Acoustics. The new Signalz X-TC3 belongs to the Steel Series of Ansuz Acoustics. The Steel Series of Ansuz is called the Steel Series because the gold-plated connectors are housed in a stainless steel (CRES 316) enclosure. The predecessor of the Signalz X-TC3, the Signalz P2, had connectors in an aluminum enclosure. And for Ansuz Acoustics, that is a problem. Audio Group Denmark (under which Ansuz falls) is constantly researching different materials. So very frequent use is made of Titanium, Copper, Stainless Steel and even Zirconium. Ansuz is working to completely avoid aluminum in its new products. Aluminum has a negative effect on the sound, it produces an artificial tone through its resonance behavior and causes hysteresis. Rather than solving the problems that aluminum causes later, Audio Group Denmark has chosen to tackle the problem at the source and therefore no longer use aluminum in its products. The conductors are silver-plated and stripped by a special machine to avoid damaging the conductor surface. The Ansuz Signalz X-TC3 is a very tightly twisted cable which ensures less noise in the conductors and improved mechanical stability. With the Ansuz Signalz X-TC3 compared to the Signalz X-TC3, in addition to the solid core main conductors, use is also made of Double Inverted Helix Coils (DIHC). The conductors are effectively insulated in Teflon, which is then surrounded by a tinned copper mesh. The Ansuz Signalz X-TC3 is handmade in the Audio Group Denmark factory in Aalborg, Denmark.

Sound characteristics: The Ansuz Acoustics Signalz X-TC3 has a natural, powerful and spatial sound. The bass is deep, tight and rhythmic and the dynamics are excellent. The Ansuz Signalz X-TC3 clearly has more body and calmness in the sound compared to the already excellent Ansuz Signalz X3 analog interlink. There is more happening in the soundstage and you hear more layers in the recording. The sound is transparent as it should be but it is not unnecessary spectacle, you recognize this in the Ansuz character which actually all Ansuz cables have. Everything you hear is pure music, we could talk about certain details and accents. But with Ansuz Acoustics we don't need to talk about that, instead we talk about the enormous musical qualities that Ansuz Acoustics products bring with them. The Ansuz Signalz X-TC3 is absolutely no exception to this. The spatial imaging is large, airy and pleasant and you are immediately engaged with the performers and the music. The time to listen to sounds is over, the time to listen to music has begun.
