General: The Ansuz PowerSwitch X-TC3 is the latest entry-level PowerSwitch from the Danish brand Ansuz Acoustics. The Ansuz PowerSwitch X-TC3 belongs to the latest generation of PowerSwitches from Ansuz. This Ansuz PowerSwitch X-TC3 uses the latest techniques from Ansuz Acoustics. Ansuz Acoustics has applied the brand new Active Zirkonium Tesla Coils in the PowerSwitch X-TC3. The Analog Dither Technology is also from the latest (3rd) generation. All these techniques + all other techniques in the Ansuz PowerSwitch X-TC3 work together to reduce noise in the music signal and strengthen the music signal.

Noise: The sound quality of the music you stream depends not only on your streamer and the streaming service or storage location used. The network switch can also greatly help in perfecting the sound quality of streamed music. Before an internet signal enters your home via an ethernet cable, many noise signals are picked up from outside and through equipment where noise floor is not considered important, such as laptops, gaming consoles and PCs. So although the incoming signal is usable, it is polluted, and you hear that in the sound quality. A polluted signal sounds muddy, compact and unclear. A polluted signal also often lacks 'body'. The Ansuz Acoustics PowerSwitches are designed with a sharp eye and ear for an efficient method of noise suppression and signal distribution. The idea is that you go directly from your modem/router to the Ansuz PowerSwitch X-TC3 with a LAN/Ethernet cable. The Ansuz PowerSwitch X-TC3 then filters pollution from the incoming signal and lowers the noise floor. This provides cleaner, more refined, quieter and thus more analog sounding audio playback with a blacker background.

Technology: All PowerSwitches from Ansuz Acoustics are equipped with various noise suppression and music signal enhancing techniques. The PowerSwitches from Ansuz Acoustics suppress noise through their own Tesla Coil technology. The Tesla Coils of Ansuz Acoustics are an effective and high-quality technique based on a simple principle. A Tesla Coil consists of 2 coils, a primary coil and a counter coil. When the primary coil detects a noise spike, the counter coil creates a noise spike out of phase, which cancels out the initial noise spike. Think of it like a noise cancelling headphone that does exactly the same thing, except a noise cancelling headphone does this electronically while the Ansuz Tesla Coils do this mechanically. The more Tesla Coils applied in the signal path, the better the noise is eliminated. The difference between the different PowerSwitches from Ansuz Acoustics lies in the total amount and different types of Tesla Coils used, with Ansuz's most expensive PowerSwitch, the D-TC GOLD Signature, containing the largest quantity and most types of Tesla Coils for optimal noise suppression and sound quality. Additionally, this model features a better housing with a titanium bottom plate and the circuit boards are internally mounted on Ansuz Darkz isolators.

The Ansuz PowerSwitch X-TC3 has a high-quality and stable internal power supply, so you don't need to make additional costs by purchasing an expensive external linear power supply. All PowerSwitches from Ansuz Acoustics are equipped with a built-in Ansuz Acoustics PowerBox functionality. The cables of the Ansuz D2-series and higher have a block with a 3.5" jack input which can be connected to the Ansuz PowerSwitch via a jack cable supplied with the Ansuz cable. The block of the Ansuz D2-series cables and higher contains Active Tesla Coils, which are Tesla Coils that operate under voltage. These Tesla Coils are up to 4 times more effective than passive Tesla Coils. However, the Active Tesla Coils must first be energized, which is what the PowerBox functionality is designed for. This results in a lower noise floor and less ground potential difference between equipment.
