General: Bricasti USA manufactures high-end audio equipment for the studio. There is a good chance you own CDs or LPs that were mixed using Bricasti equipment. The digital reverb processors in particular are world-renowned. For about the past 10 years, Bricasti has also been making high-end equipment for the home. The first product is the excellently tested M1 DSD/PCM DA Converter. The first Dual Mono DA Converter that can decode all digital signals in the world. The second product from Bricasti is the M28 Mono Power Amplifier. We present to you here the new Bricasti M15, the stereo version of the Bricasti M28. The Bricasti M15 is the challenger to other top stereo power amplifiers such as the Soulution 710, the Spectral DMA300RS, the Mark Levinson 532, and other leading power amplifiers.

Technology: The M15 is derived from the exclusive and outstanding Bricasti M28 monoblock amplifiers. The M15 is the stereo version of achieving the ideal power amplifier. This begins with the M15's chassis. The chassis is the foundation upon which everything is built. The Bricasti M15 is entirely constructed from CNC-machined aluminum plates. This chassis is completely resonance-free and therefore extremely stable, which offers great sonic advantages. The Bricasti M15 is then equipped with an enormous power supply, discretely regulated, which provides all sections with their own independently regulated power rail. The Bricasti M15 itself is built with fully balanced signal paths, from input to output. The output power may seem modest at 125 watts per channel at 8 ohms, but the Bricasti M15 is very suitable for all speakers, including those with difficult impedance. The Bricasti M15 delivers continuously 2 x 500 watts at 2 ohms, and you will be astonished by the power output and the ease with which this power is delivered. You can therefore also drive even very challenging speakers. The chassis remains sufficiently cool under all conditions. The Bricasti M15 can be set in 4 ways.

1. Completely off, main power button off. Unit is fully shut down. Consumption: 0 watts

2. Minimal standby. Main power button on. LED flashes quickly. Consumption: 1 watt

3. Normal standby. Main power button on. LED flashes slowly. Consumption: 80 watts.

4. On. LED is on continuously. Idle consumption: 170 watts. Unit plays music.

The Bricasti M15 has an adjustable, relay-controlled input sensitivity circuit, allowing you to optimize each stage in 3 steps of 6dB. The Bricasti M15 sits on special Stillpoints feet with ball bearings for decoupling.

Listening: The Bricasti M15 has a distinctly perceptible natural and analog character, and actually no own "sound". The M15 has all audiophile qualities such as open, 3D, fast and pure and a glowing bass reproduction, but does this without imposing its own signature on the sound. The Bricasti M15 does not follow the rage to sound as bright and as fast as possible, with the result that the reproduction sounds glassy, thin and sometimes even outright aggressive. With Bricasti amplifiers it is not about how much bass they deliver, or how bright the dynamics are, no, it is about how these amplifiers render the music. An excellent sound system gives music that embraces you, and not sound that attacks you. But dynamically the M15 really holds its own. Extraordinarily good.
