Technology: The Sonus Faber Lumina V is finished to a high standard according to Sonus Faber's specifications. Only natural materials are used for the cabinet and drivers. The cabinet itself is a rectangular design finished on all sides with genuine leather. The front is available in various finishes: high-gloss black, or genuine wood veneer in dark Wenge or the lighter Walnut finish. The tweeter, midrange driver, and woofers are also made from natural materials. The two 6.5 inch woofers and 6 inch midrange driver are made from paper composite, while the tweeter is an iconic D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) 29mm Kurtmüller silk dome tweeter, also used in the higher Sonetto series from Sonus Faber, as is the 6 inch midrange driver which you'll also find in the Sonetto series. The Sonus Faber Lumina V distinguishes itself from the Lumina III not only in size, but also because in the Lumina V the tweeter and midrange driver are located in a separate compartment within the cabinet.
