General : A superb amplifier, made by the renowned British brand Musical Fidelity from England.

Technical : The Musical Fidelity M6 500i is no lightweight amplifier. This 30kg weighty beast is internally built completely dual mono, with a dual power supply featuring dual toroidal transformers. With its very generous 2 x 500 Watts at 8 Ohms and even 2 x 850 Watts at 4 Ohms, the Musical Fidelity M6 500i handles any speaker effortlessly. The Musical Fidelity M6 500i features exclusively high-quality components and has extremely low harmonic distortion. It has both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue inputs, with 1 of the RCA inputs switchable via a switch on the rear to be used as an AUX input, or as Home Theater Throughput. Additionally, there is a Pre Out available for a subwoofer, or two subwoofers of course.

Sound : The Musical Fidelity M6 500i exudes authority in its sound, which does not mean it sounds enormously overdramatic and spectacular. It means that everything proceeds easily and effortlessly, as if the amplifier finds it no effort, which it indeed doesn't of course thanks to its generous output power. There is an enormous sense of calm and control over the sound. The 3D soundstage is enormous and rich in detail. Due to its neutral yet refined character, the Musical Fidelity M6 500i can be used with many types and brands of speakers.

This Musical Fidelity M6 500i was built in October 2018. The amplifier is in excellent visual condition and is supplied including the original remote control. Unfortunately the packaging is no longer available, so we cannot ship this heavy amplifier.
