General : Power conditioner/distributor from the Danish brand Ansuz Acoustics. This Power distributor uses unconventional techniques for noise suppression and elimination of noise spikes.

Technology : The Ansuz Mainz8 A2 is the larger sibling of the Mainz8 X-TC Power distributor from Ansuz. The Ansuz Mainz8 A2 is also considerably larger due to the large number (31) of active Tesla Coils. The Active Tesla Coils are much more efficient than the Active Square Tesla Coils found in the Mainz8 X and X-TC. This results in better noise elimination, providing a blacker background and clearer, quieter reproduction. The Tesla Coils from Ansuz Acoustics are an effective and high-quality technology, based on a simple principle. A Tesla Coil consists of 2 coils, a coil and a counter coil. As soon as the coil detects a noise spike, the counter coil creates an out-of-phase noise spike, which cancels out the initial noise spike. Think of it like noise cancelling headphones, which do exactly the same thing, but electronically whereas the Ansuz Tesla Coils do this mechanically. The more Tesla Coils applied in the signal path, the better the noise is eliminated. The Ansuz Mainz8 A2 is equipped with Ansuz Star Grounding Technology which prevents noise from leaking to connected equipment, Analog Dither Circuitry for amplifying the music signal and thus Tesla Coils for eliminating noise from the music signal.
