Technology : The Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC is an Ultra Reference model from the Danish brand Ansuz Acoustics. The Mainz8 Ultra Reference series starts with the Mainz8 DTC and goes through to the very exclusive D-TC Supreme. Above the D-TC Supreme you will find the absolute reference/flagship model of Ansuz Acoustics, the Mainz8 GOLD Signature. The Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC uses all 4 of Ansuz's distinctive noise reduction techniques. The Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC is equipped with Ansuz Stargrounding Technology. This technique ensures that noise cannot "bleed" to every individual cable. To eliminate noise, the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC is equipped with 27 Active Cable Tesla Coils, these are coils mounted directly to the internal wiring. The Active Cable Tesla Coils consist of 2 parts: a coil and a counter coil. When the coil encounters a noise spike, the counter coil creates a counter spike out of phase. This cancels out the noise spike, somewhat like a noise-cancelling headphone does this electronically, but mechanically. The more Tesla Coils, the more effective the total amount of noise elimination. The Active Cable Tesla Coils work under voltage, making them up to 4 times more effective than the Passive Cable Tesla Coils of Ansuz Acoustics. Additionally, the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC also has no fewer than 94 Active Square Tesla Coils on board. These are square Tesla Coils mounted directly on a circuit board. You will also find 47 Active Tesla Coils in the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC, these are also voltage-operated Tesla Coils, however they are mounted in the circuit instead of directly to the internal wiring. Finally, the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC also features 8 pieces of Analog Dither Circuitry. This technique stems from radar technology. The Analog Dither Circuitry allows the Tesla Coils to emit pulsing signals at precisely determined frequencies. These signals are phase-shifted. The result of this technique is that the music signal is significantly amplified and the background noise floor is eliminated. The circuit boards in the Ansuz Mainz8 D-TC are mounted on Ansuz Darkz decouplers, which means the circuit boards are less affected by vibrations, providing more stable operation and thus better sound reproduction. The way Ansuz Acoustics addresses noise does not restrict the power signal, so you do not experience dynamic loss. Even large power amplifiers can safely be connected to the Mainz8 models of Ansuz Acoustics.
