The Audiomeca J4 is an ultra high-end turntable, designed by acclaimed designer Pierre Lurné. The entire platter sits on a floating suspension with multiple springs. The chassis is a very solid double cabinet made of Methacrylate and Lead. The top deck and bottom deck are completely separated from each other. The motor is integrated into the turntable on the bottom deck, and sits in its own compartment made from a lead block weighing no less than 3 kg. Diagonally opposite the motor is an additional decoupled mounted pulley. The round belt is attached to the motor and the pulley, with the rotating platter in between. The platter itself is also milled from Methacrylate and Lead and weighs a full 8 kg. Multiple arms can be mounted on this deck. The Audiomeca J4 is equipped with external power to minimize interference. The tonearm mounted on this unit is the highly sophisticated Linn Ekos with hydraulic lift. The mounted cartridge is a Clearaudio 24K Gold, a high-quality MC cartridge. We may also have a matching MM/MC balanced phono stage available. This Audiomeca Pierre Lurné J4 is in excellent condition and functions perfectly. This turntable can only be delivered by Ohm-Audio B.V. itself or collected from the Ohm-Audio B.V. premises; shipping is not an option. This is due to the very high weight and spring suspension.
