Technical : The Avalon Acoustics Isis is a large and heavy 3-way loudspeaker system. All units are chosen for optimal and most perfect acoustic properties. We find 2 large honeycomb woofers in a separate pressure-controlled bass enclosure. The bass chamber features pressure relief at the bottom. It is therefore not a standard bass reflex enclosure. The enclosure is coupled to a separate mid/treble unit. This is coupled to the bass enclosure by means of a composite plate. This top unit features a large ceramic midrange driver and a 25mm pure diamond tweeter. Both the enclosure and the units used are of absolute top quality. The filter technology is also very advanced, and therefore the Isis does not sound like a loudspeaker, but like music. Pure music.
